We left again this morning at 5:30am. We decided to head north and then west to the Timbavati picnic spot. It takes you through the open plains north of Satara which are known for large herds of impala, zebra and wildebeest and then because of those, lions are usually nearby. Today we embarked on our annual 2 week trip which besides one year, has been to the Kruger Park since our 25th anniversary. This trip hasn't had the easiest of starts though.
